Social Care Manager

Job Description

Our Client is a large well established Voluntary organisation providing care for over 500 hundred adults and children with intellectual disabiliteis  and employing over 500 staff.
They are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Area Manager to lead a team in the designated area in  continuing to provide and develop a high level of care in accordance with the organisations standards and ethics and in line with H.I.Q.A. standards and regulations.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant Social Care Qualification or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in intellectual disabilities is essential.
A minimum of three years management at a senior level is also essential.
A proven track record in managing all aspects of a number of residential, respite and day services is expected.
The individual will need to be a proven leader with outstanding management and organisational skills and the ability to report effectively and in a timely manner.
