Service Manager


Job Description

Our Client , a leading national voluntary organisation are looking to recruit a Service Manager to work closely with the Regional Manager in overseeing services for up to 60 service users and managing 80 staff across several locations in Clare.
The purpose of this position is to provide efficient and effective management and co-ordination of service delivery within the designated area of responsibility in accordance with the organisations policies, procedures and guidelines.
The Services Manager will ensure the day to day management of the Services in their area reflects the ethos and vision of the organisation, and will foster and promote this vision in their relationships with Individuals supported by the Service, their families, staff members, and the wider community.
The Services Manager will be responsible for the development and overall management of their Services, which will include a wide range of day and residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities in local community settings.
The Services Manager will support 50 to 70 individuals between day and residential services and will have a staff complement of 80 WTE staff (approx.) and an operational budget of €3.5 million (approx.)
The Services Manager will liaise and provide overall leadership to Co-Ordinators, Team Leaders and Staff Members.
The Services Manager has a pivotal role in ensuring that the day to day operations reflect the ethos and vision of the Brothers of Charity Services Clare and that the needs of individuals are being met. The Services Manager will be an active member of the Services, participating in the operational and strategic development.
