House Coordinator - Wexford
We are recruiting for an experienced House Coordinator for a well-known large voluntary Intellectual disability service based in Wexford.
1 YEAR INITIAL, FIXED TERM FULL-TIME
Applicants must hold:
It is essential that the applicant has tertiary level education in a health related degree/course such as Social Care, Health & Social Care, Social Work or Nursing and evidence of proven leadership and/or management skills or working towards same.
It is desirable that the applicant has a qualification or recognised training in leadership and/or management or working towards the same.
Holds clean drivers licence.
Applicant must have:
A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the Intellectual Disability sector.
A minimum of 1 years Supervisory or Management experience.
Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to the values of the service and to improve the lives of their service users.
Excellent leadership and motivation skills.
Excellent organisation and communication skills.
Ability to manage budget and delivery of service excellence.
High initiative and integrity.
It is essential that the applicant has experience in developing person centred plans.
Health and Safety experience in residential support essential.
Experience of housework tasks such as cleaning, cooking, doing laundry and maintaining fabric of the house in good repair.
Conducting internal audit and necessary checks.
Experience of living in an intentional community is desirable.
Practical Skills that could be shared e.g. DIY, and gardening.
Craft, art, dance, drama.
Openness to working with group management practices that strive for collaboration and consensus where applicable.
Have experience of inspection processes.
Experience of enabling and developing citizenship rights.
