Reporting directly to the CEO, Director of Nursing is a National Role and will be an integral member of the Senior Management Team and will be responsible for setting direction for Nursing Services in the Organisation. S/he will lead a team of key Service Centre Managers, Nurse Specialists and Clinical/Departmental Heads and will represent the service on the National Implementation Committee on Shaping the Future of RNID Nursing in Ireland.
The successful candidate will be a qualified and experienced Nurse and will demonstrate extensive senior management experience in the delivery of Nursing Services in an Intellectual Disabilities setting. A level 8 qualification in Nursing/Healthcare management is essential.
