Job Description

Radiation Therapists, required by TTM Healthcare, on behalf of a major teaching hospital, based in Cork.        
The Radiation Oncology department is part of The Cancer Services, Haematology and Palliative Care Division and currently has 4 linear accelerators, a CT and simulator, HDR brachy and a Superficial treatment machine.       
As Radiation Therapist, you will play an active role in the multidisciplinary team, requiring close liaison with Radiation Oncologist, Radiotherapy Nursing, Medical Physics and all support staff for the department and the national network.  You will be delivering safe and accurate Radiation Therapy delivery on a day to day basis, along with supervising students and visitors to the department.        
These are full time, fixed term contracts, to start as soon as possible and up until the end of August, with chance of extension following this.            
Key Requirements:     
  • BSc in Radiotherapy
  • CORU registration is essential
  • Post graduate experience is desirable
  • Experience working on Siemens scanner is desirable
