Director of Nursing - Co. Donegal  
   
Our client a nursing home group who have a newly trading purpose built HIQA registered 64 bed nursing home located in Co. Donegal are actively recruiting a Director of Nursing who will be responsible for the overall management and administration of the Home providing guidance, oversight and direction to all staff disciplines. The Director of Nursing will ensure that the centre in operated in line with best practices and in compliance with Nursing Home standards.   As Director of Nursing you will be supported in your role by Group Management and in house Management.  
   
   
Requirements :-  
Registered with NMBI for a minimum of 6 years.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Caring for the Older Person (from your last 6 years experience).
A minimum of 3 years relevant Management Experience with Management Qualification.
A detailed understanding of HIQA Standards and Compliance with same.
Ensure that the nursing home operates within allocated budgets in the provision of a high quality, safe and efficient service.
Possess excellent Leadership skills to direct and support all staff disciplines to ensure very high standards of care are delivered.
Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills to ensure that excellent relationships are maintained with Residents, Families, Staff, HIQA and other Health Service Providers.
Responsible for promoting and raising awareness of the new nursing home and the services provided
