Community Nurses required - Co. Clare       
       
Nursing (RCN/RGN) with current paediatric experience  
   
TTM Healthcare are currently looking for nurses for Full time and part time positions to care for a young child with complex medical needs in Co. Clare.      
     
   
The HSE requires a healthcare provider to administer a homecare package in Co. Clare, to care for a 7 yr old child with a diagnosis of Congenital Disorder of Glycosylation Type 1A. This young child lives with two siblings and parents and requires close observation at all times for seizure management. Although unable to walk & non-verbal, the child is a very happy & sociable little child when well. The child's mother is his primary carer. This child attends school 4 days a week & is living at home with the following complex healthcare needs-
  • Global developmental delay
  • Non-verbal
  • Visual impairment
  • Hearing impairment
  • Epilepsy requiring seizure management
  • Frequent chest infections
  • High risk of aspiration
  • Medication Management
  • Oxygen therapy with seizures as required
  • Nebulisation administration
  • Chest physio exercises performed as needed
  • PEG feed dependent- Corflo tube in situ
  • Prone to skin breakdown
  • Reduced mobility requiring regular positioning/moving and handling-manual hoist used for transfers
 
The package consists of  
Nursing (RCN/RGN) with current paediatric experience  
9hrs weekly  (Thursdays)  
                          
Breakdown of hrs  
1x 9hr day weekly                 No Weekends  
(Monday-Friday)                     No Bank Holidays  
   
   
Note :  HSE Paycale and Training is provided      
       
       
     
Basic Requirements:                
     
  • Valid NMBI registration      
  • General Nursing qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full Drivers Licence
  •
