Our Client is a leading national voluntary and is looking to recruit a Social Care Leader based in Tralee.
This will initially be a maternity cover with the strong prospect of a renewal due to new location.
The role of the Team Leader is pivotal in supporting the coordination and management of a residential service. The main responsibilities are to support resource-management and staffing - including rosters, staff development, facilitating communication and professional leadership in order to ensure a good quality of life for the people living in each area.

Area Manager/Service Coordinator
Experience and Qualifications/Skills:
Candidates should have a relevant third level qualification in the Health or Social Care sectors e.g. BA (HONS) in Applied Social Studies/Social Care, Psychology, Social Work.
A minimum of 3 year's experience in Intellectual Disabilities (At least 1 year of this to be Team Lead)
Experience in working within the Mental Health Sector would be a distinct advantage.
Experience of working with challenging behaviour is essential.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate leadership, communication and team working skills. The successful candidate will be a flexible and dynamic individual who will relate to people in a range of situations together with an understanding of and commitment to the principles of public accountability as they apply in the health service.
Candidates must have a full clean driving licence. Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement of this post.
