Here at TTM Healthcare, we are currently recruiting for a Basic Grade Radiographers for a Private Hospital in the South Dublin Area.
This Private Hospital puts their Patient first and wants you to do the same. It is the single, biggest acute private hospital in Dublin. They offer the highest number of consultants and the widest range of specialist care in Ireland's only integrated multi-hospital campus. Situated on the same grounds as a University Hospital, they share resources, expertise and medical facilities with one of the country's leading academic teaching hospital.
The Role:
  • To undertake Radiographic and Imaging Examinations as required.
  • To maintain a high standard of Radiography.
  • To take part in late or early shifts, sessions and on-call service as required.
  • To ensure that the three principles of radiation protection, namely justification, optimisation (ALARA) and dose constraints/limits are adhered to.  
  • Basic safety standards for the protection of health workers and the general public against the dangers arising from Ionising Radiation and Council
  • To take part in routine daily inspection of equipment and quality assurance procedures. To report any defects or problems either directly to Superintendent Radiographer or to Senior Radiographer in area where working.
  • To follow directions of senior staff and departmental protocols where applicable.
  • To keep up-to-date with current techniques and developments in Radiographic and Imaging procedures and to take part in in-service training as required.  
 
Key Requirements:
  • Diploma of the College of Radiographers (Diagnostic) Bachelor of Science or its equivalent in (Diagnostic Radiography).
  • Qualification must be recognised and validated by the Irish Institute of Radiography and have obtained CORU certification
  • Demonstrate experience of working with a team of Radiographers.
  • Recent Clinical Experience working in Plain Film
