Key worker - Women's refuge
Our client is an established refuge centre in north central Dublin providing a service to clients experiencing domestic abuse.
They are currently seeking a Domestic Abuse Key Worker on a full time basis.
The purpose of the job is to:
Provide support and structured services to residents in the Refuge, with an emphasis on progressing needs through implementation of care plans.
Ensure the safety and security of women and children resident in the Women and Children's Refuge.
Essential requirements for this role
Third Level Qualification at degree level in social science, social care or related field.
A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience working in a social care setting with women/ families
Experience of key-working clients or individual case-work.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of domestic violence and issues affecting women and children experiencing domestic violence.
Understanding and working knowledge of Domestic Violence Act/ Children's First Legislation/ Child Care Act.
Excellent facilitation, training and communication skills.
Full time post, 39 hour week
3 year fixed term contract
Salary scale is €29,993- €39,875
