Job Description

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting for Radiation Therapists for a major teaching hospital in Cork.  
Under the National Cancer Control Program, this hospital has been designated one of the eight Specialist Cancer Centres in Ireland and their Radiation Oncology Department serves Cork, Kerry, Waterford and South Tipperary.  The department works in close collaboration with other departments including surgery, medical oncology (chemotherapy), haematology, palliative care, histopathology and radiology.   
The Radiation Oncology department is part of The Cancer Services, Haematology and Palliative Care Division and currently has 4 linear accelerators, a CT and simulator, HDR brachy and a Superficial treatment machine.  Work is also beginning on a new purpose built Radiotherapy Centre starting this summer.   
As radiation therapist you will play an active role in the multidisciplinary team, requiring close liaison with Radiation Oncologist, Radiotherapy Nursing, Medical Physics and all support staff for the department and the national network.  You will be delivering safe and accurate Radiation Therapy delivery on a day to day basis, along with supervising students and visitors to the department.  
This is full time, fixed term roles with excellent salaries offered to the selected candidates.   
  • BSc in Radiotherapy.  
  • Must be CORU registered.  
  • Experience working in the UK/Irish Healthcare system essential.
