Job Description

Basic Grade Dietitians (Community) x 3 required by TTM Healthcare on behalf our clients located in Offaly, Westmeath and Laois.
The contract
These are fulltime, temporary posts which will be initially renewed on a week to week basis. The hours are 9am-5pm from Monday-Friday with no overtime or weekend work required. The successful candidate will be required to commence the post early September. We cannot advise as to the end date as it is on a week to week basis.
The role
You will join a team of 7 other primary care dietitians carrying out 1:1 dietetic consultation, group interventions and home care package clients. In addition, you will be required to participate as a member of a Primary Care Team and wider Primary, Community and Continuing Care (PCCC); working as part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to client care.
The location
You will be required to work in either Offaly, Westmeath or Laois depending on which role you wish to apply for.
Mullingar-You will be based in a primary care unit in Mullingar with occasional visits to patient's homes in the surrounding community. You will have to travel throughout Westmeath but there will be no commute to Athlone.
Tullamore-You will be based in local clinics and 30% of the role will require home visits in the surrounding community.
Portlaoise- You will be based in a hospital but will be required to travel to Portarlington occasionally and in the surrounding community.
The Key Requirements
Qualification in Dietetics recognised by the Dietitians Registration Board at CORU
Post qualification experience of 6-12 months is essential
Experience in PEGS is essential and group intervention settings
CORU Registration is essential
