Staff Nurse ID - Full or Part-Time Permanent Hours - based in Dublin 13 - EXCELLENT Salary and Benefits
Working Day Duty only 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm (Monday to Friday) with some flexibility on Saturdays
Our Client provides services to people with various Disability diagnoses and required level of supports including: Intellectual disability, ASD, Autism, Physical disability, Sensory disability, and Mental health support needs.
We are recruiting for the above position providing support to adults in a residential setting with intellectual disabilities in Dublin 13
Working : 5 days, 9 to 5 (with some flexibility needed) Permanent Contract.
The successful candidates must be committed to providing the highest standard of services in support of adults to live satisfying, fulfilling, and interesting lives. The role will require flexible weekend work to respond to the needs of the residents. .
The successful candidate will:
Be on the current register of An Bord Altranais and preferably RNID or general nursing trained.
Have an understanding or experience in working within a regulatory environment (HIQA, etc).
Have a strong interest and /or experience in working with adults with an intellectual disability.
Excellent communication, teamwork, interpersonal, organisational, and initiative skills.
Understanding of Advocacy, Human Rights and Risk Management concepts.
Have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of National Standards for Residential Services for Adults and Adults with Disabilities and relevant legislation pertinent to support of adults.
Demonstrate sound knowledge and social model practice in support of adults.
Be able to guide and coach care assistants in providing care to the residents.
A full clean driving license.
Benefits :-
Salary : Point 13 of the HSE Payscale
Pension of 7% contribution by employer after 6 months probation and then 10% after 5 years of service
Holidays 22 days per year plus bank holidays or 8% of hours worked
Death in Service €75K to next of Kin

Note : this service offers a very relaxed 'home from home' environment and currently has 9 residents aging between 23 years to 74 years living in three separate bungalows. Its important to note that the patients are low risk, 6 of which are wheelchair users and they have over 40% voluntary staff,
Its a great opportunity for someone who wants to work in a more relaxed environment where the patient care is key to this service. The turnover of staff is extremely low. The reason this role has become available is due to a member of staff retiring.
