Locum Senior Grade Speech & Language Therapists - Louth
ASAP start, 6 month contract initially

They have available opportunities for Senior Grade SLT's on their Adult Network team.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The overall responsibility within this role;
• Work with adults who present with a range of communication needs including speech, language, fluency, swallowing difficulties and voice impairments.
• Provide assessment, diagnosis and therapy for children and young people presenting with a wide range of communication difficulties.
• Assessment and Intervention with these clients is typically undertaken within the Primary Care setting.
• Work with other members of the Primary Care team as appropriate.
• Provide advice and support to service users and their families.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for the role, you will need:
• A recognised qualification as a Speech & Language Therapist.
• Full CORU registration.
• Dysphagia qualification essential.
• Ability to adapt to changing work environment.
• Professional approach to work
• Full driving license & access to own car is desirable as home visits may occur due to disability buildings being closed to the public at present.
• Flexibility in work practice
• Experience in working with this client group is preferable - not essential.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork and effective caseload management skills.
• Good planning, organisation and effective time management skills together with the ability to work on your own initiative.
