Senior Support Worker Positions - Prader Willi Centre of Excellence

At Social Care, from Resilience, we’re changing the face of support for people with intellectual, physical and sensory disability and/or Autism in Ireland. We offer progressive, one-to-one solutions geared towards the empowerment of the people we support, rather than limiting their experiences of life. We put each individual, and support of their disability, at the centre of everything we do, helping them live an involved, meaningful and empowered life and focusing not on what they can’t do, but on what they can achieve. This spirit comes to life in our client-centred, home-from-home residential centres, and in the specialist services we provide.

This service has been designed and developed specifically to support people with Prader Willi Syndrome. We are located in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.

This exciting innovation is the result of an extensive period of review by Resilience who, together with families and members of PWSAI have travelled to Germany, Denmark and the UK to visit and study in-depth, experienced EU PWS specialist providers. We have also had learning workshops with PWSA UK, attended the IPWSO conference, researched global best practice, consulted deeply with people with PWS and their families and built all of this learning into the creation of this specialist service.
