Senior Speech and Language Therapist
Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. This is a contracted role for 3 - 6 months with possibility of extension thereafter.
Duties:
• Be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment / intervention programmes for service users according to professional standards.
• Communicate results of assessments and recommendations to the service user and relevant others as appropriate.
• Provide a high quality, effective and evidence-based service that is current and responsive to patient needs
• Ensure that professional standards are maintained in relation to confidentiality, ethics and legislation.
Requirements:
•Must have 36 months post-qualification experience
•Experience in Dysphagia is essential
•Previous Hospital experience is desirable
•Eligibility to work in Ireland (hold a working visa)
•Must be registered with CORU
