SENIOR SPEECH & LANGUAGE THERAPIST - KERRY
TTM Healthcare Solutions are proud to have partnered with well established Community Service Organization based in Co. Kerry who currently have an opportunity for Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join their team.
THE SERVICE
Our Client provides a range of person centered programmes and services for adults and children with an intellectual disability in accordance with Organization's values and ethos in keeping with their commitment to the development of community based services.
JOB DETAILS
Location: Kerry
Hours: 17,5 hours per week
Salary: €54,667k - €64,380k (pro rata for less than 37 hours)
Duration: permanent, part time
REQUIREMENTS
• BSc/MSc in Speech & Language Therapy or equivalent recognised by the Department of Health and Children
• Continued registration with CORU to work as an Speech and Language Therapist in Ireland
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Full, clean Driver's License & access to own car
• Minimum of three years post qualification experience
• Minimum of one year working with with adults with an intellectual disability
• Qualification in dysphagia & at least 6 months post graduate experience working in the area of adult dysphagia
• Excellent communication, interpersonal & team work skills, initiative, flexibility, enthusiasm and resourcefulness
• Proven experience of proper discharge of the functions of the role in line with best practice and professional standards
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:
• Lamh training & training related to Augmentative and Alternative Communication
• Delivering Staff Training Programmes
• Supporting people with challenging behaviour
