The Position : Registered Nurse - Full Time Permanent - Residential Care Home - South Dublin
Our client a leading heatlhcare Care Group who have care homes both in North and South Dublin are actively recruiting a RGN for one of their Residential care homes a 60+ bedded facility based in South Dublin.
Their Homes are communities of residents, carers, friends and relatives. They respect the individuality and uniqueness of every member of their community. This means a special value is placed on privacy and dignity They provide environments that are pleasing to the senses – calm, respectful, sensitive and, above all, happy. They make their homes places where old friendships continue and new friendships flourish.
The Qualifications and Experience :
Current Registration with An Bord Altranais (NMBI)
A minimum of 1 years experience in care of elderly patients in Ireland
Main Duties :
To promote through high standards of professional nursing practice a caring environment, conducive to the physical and emotional needs of residents.
To ensure that each person resident in, or attending, our Care Centre receives person centred care appropriate to his/her individual needs.
To maintain a safe, hygienic and comfortable environment where respect for the privacy and dignity of residents at our Care Centre is assured at all times.
Full knowledge and understanding of Care Plans.
Communicate with relatives/family members as required.
Participate in in-service training and education.
Keep up-to-date with the current research.
To guide and assist all members of the team in order to help them do their jobs in the best way.
