Roles A Basic Grade Pharmacist
A Senior Grade Pharmacist
A senior Grade Pharmacist (Aseptic Compounding Unit)
In partnership with a Private Hospital based in North Dublin, TTM Healthcare are urgently recruiting for a Staff Grade Pharmacist, A Senior Grade Pharmacist and A Senior Grade Pharmacist, Aseptic Compounding Unit.
All previous Post Grade Experience, such as Community Experience and hospital experience is taken into account when calculating your Point of Scale/Salary.
A probationary period applies to each role.
These roles will provide support to and operate under the direction of the relevant person in charge.
Basic Grade
Along with normal duties associated with Basic Grade Pharmacist
oWork collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure that patient care is central to all activities of the Pharmacy Department.
oParticipate in service delivery as part of a professional, punctual and dedicated team.
oCreate, promote and maintain open communications and healthy working relationships.
oMaintain the principles of accountability and quality of service in daily work.
oWork collaboratively with other Pharmacy Department staff to deliver clinical pharmacy services, respecting the role of other pharmacists in ensuring safe and effective care.
oCarry out dispensary duties as required including purchase, storage and supply of medicines and related items ensuring quality and value for money.
oEnsure accurate records relating to the procurement, storage, distribution, sale and destruction of medical products are maintained in accordance with good practice and applicable legislation.
oParticipate in stock-taking, invoice-processing and other administrative procedures as required.
Senior Grade
Along with all duties normally associated with Senior Grade
oTo be professionally responsible for all aspects post holder's own work
oCompound and dispense pharmaceuticals, including sterile products, chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition products accurately.
oMonitor drug therapy regiments for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
oMonitor antibiotic use
oDetect and report suspect drug reactions accurately and in a timely manner.
oTo help ensure that the needs of patients and professional staff are being adequately met by the Pharmaceutical service provided.
oWork independently
Senior Grade Pharmacist (Aseptic Compounding Unit)
•Supervision of compounding
•Final release of compound products
•you will be working closely with Oncology day centre and ward
•Oncology / Haematology multi-disciplinary teams
•Clinical trials pharmacist
REQUIRMENTS:
As a qualified pharmacist you must be currently registered with the PSI
Permission to work in Ireland
Experience expected for each role
Strong Organisational Skills
Previous Experience in Chemotherapy Desirable for Snr Pharmacist, Aseptic Compounding Unit
