Medical Scientist, required by TTM Healthcare, on behalf of one of Ireland's largest acute private hospitals, based in South Dublin.
This is a multidisciplinary post, working between Haematology and Biochemistry.
As Multidisciplinary Medical Scientist, you will be responsible for the provision of analytical results with exceptional attention to quality, speed and efficiency in a busy laboratory, monitor and ensure the quality of analyses through active assessment of internal quality control and external quality assessment, participate in the hospital laboratory ISO 15189 quality management system and co-operate and liaise with staff as per the requirements of the service.
Experience in one or all of the following areas is highly desirable:
•Experience in a multidisciplinary laboratory
•Experience with Roche Cobas Biochemistry and/or Sysmex Haematology systems
•Experience in Blood film Morphological review
This is a full-time, specified purpose contract, to start as soon as possible.
Key Requirements:
•BSc in Biomedical Science - only ACSLM/CORU approved degrees can be considered
•CORU registration
•Minimum 1 year post qualification experience as a Medical Scientist in Biochemistry and/or Haematology
•Have an ability to work under pressure, be highly efficient and to meet deadlines
