TTM Healthcare, in partnership with one of Ireland's leading academic teaching hospitals based in South Dublin, have an exciting opportunity for Staff Grade Medical Scientists who are experienced in, or have a keen interest in, Cellular Pathology.

We are currently recruiting for Medical Scientists in Cellular Pathology and are looking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic applicants who have a strong interest in this area. Previous clinical experience in Cellular Pathology is desirable, however not a key requirement, as training will be provided.

The Department of Cellular Pathology provides a comprehensive Histopathology and Cytopathology service to a regional population of 450,000 (approx.), processing and examining in excess of 45,000 samples per year and accredited to International Standard ISO 15189.

The Laboratory performs tests across routine histology, frozen sections, special staining, IHC/ISH, FISH (Lymphoma & Melanoma), direct immunofluorescence, andrology and cytology and histodissection of skin specimens.

Our client is extremely supportive of continual professional development (both academically and financially) and actively encourages CPD and further studies, as well as upskilling and clinical training in the lab, such as Histodissection etc.

These are two permanent, full-time positions available. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression and further training within the HSE.

Key Requirements:

•BSc in Biomedical Science/Medical Laboratory Science - only ACSLM/CORU approved degrees can be considered
•CORU registration
•Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Experience in Cellular Pathology is desirable
