At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with a well established Healthcare Group which owns and manages seven nursing homes across Ireland and is expanding it business in 2021 opening a new state of the art care home in Co. Wicklow. The company was founded in the early 90's and is managed centrally from their Head Office in Co. Meath and provides high quality care for over three hundred and fifty residents.

The Person :-

Degree level qualification in Human Resource Management
Membership of relevant professional body (CIPD)
At least 5 years experience working at HR Manager level.
Strong knowledge and experience of employment legislation and compliance
Significant experience dealing with trade unions, managing employee relations and representing the company at WRC.
Significant experience in recruitment and talent sourcing.

Key Responsibilities :-

Recruitment: co-ordinate with DONs, manage process, ensure active pipeline in place for HCA and SN roles. Fully utilise web based resources to source candidates, look at alternate routes to source candidates.
Ensure recruitment process is consistent and reflective of our company values.
Induction – ensure policy and procedure in place, ensure consistency across homes, monitor and review with new staff to identify areas for improvement, ensure reflective of our values and culture.
Performance Management : manage annual process, ensure fit for use, continually review and provide support/training to DONs/ADONs in completing.
Responsible for management of Employee Relations – deliver case management advice on key areas such as disciplinary, performance management, absenteeism; management of process for all allegations, represent the company at any referrals to rights commissioner or WRC; facilitate employee grievances as per policy.
Job Descriptions – ensure up to date job descriptions are held for all roles.
HR Policies & Procedures – keep policies and procedures updated to reflect any change in practice or legislation.
Employee Handbook – keep updated to reflect any changes in practice or legislation.
Succession Planning, Retention Strategies – work with DONs to ensure succession plans and development plans in place for key talent. Provide annual training and development plan for approval to COO.
Proactively work with DONS to highlight and identify key trends and issues arising from data such as exit interviews, turnover reports, absence and performance reviews and propose specific plans to assist and advise improvements.
Support and coach people managers on complex employee Issues
Manage employee database to ensure full compliance and accurate reporting capabilities.

Salary – Would be negotiable depending on experience
