THEATRE NURSE
Staff Nurse required for Operating Theatre Department in a Limerick hospital. This position is a full time permanent role working 39 hours per week and is ideally suited to an experienced general nurse with experience in Theatre or previous experience in orthopaedics or ophthalmology. Positions are also becoming available within a number of other wards also.

Overview of role:
The successful candidate will be required to manage the care of assigned patients
Update the manger of any changes that occur
Maintain professional confidentiality, ensuring all clinical and legal documents are accurate and legible
Use discretion and decision making regarding patient care, referring appropriately to CNM/medical staff and other disciplines.
Function effectively and quickly in an emergency situation within Theatre
Responsible for continuous personal and professional development
Requirements:
Hold full NMBI registration or in the process of registering
Minimum of 1 year Theatre experience
Have experience of working in a multi-disciplinary clinical environment
