Project Manager - Day Duty (Hybrid Model)

We are looking for a positive, passionate, and enthusiastic Project Manager to hold the accountability for the delivery of operational excellence by designing, developing and rolling out improvement projects across our portfolio of nursing homes.

This role may suit someone who is at Senior Staff Nurse or CNM Level working in an elderly care setting and is looking for a new challenge which offers a work/life balance.

Reporting to the Group Director of Operations, The Group Project Manager will also support in the management of all aspects of day-to-day operations for the Care Group Nursing Homes.


The Company


This Care Group is one of the leading nursing home groups in Ireland. The Group has more than doubled its size over the last two years and currently consists of 8 care facilities, 498 residential care beds. Headquarters are based in Dublin 15. The central operating group comprises the finance, operations, quality, and HR functions. They have nursing homes in Dublin, Meath, Westmeath, Kildare, Carlow.

Role Responsibilities:

Taking a lead role in a fast-paced Group Operations team team to plan, develop, and execute identified projects and improvement plans.
Leading and managing change as well as building, motivating and guiding colleagues and team members through change initiatives and projects.
Work in conjunction with the Quality and Clinical Practice Lead to establish best practice, follow company policies and procedures and to maintain regulatory (HIQA) compliance in the nursing home.
Identify areas for process improvement, engaging team members through required changes.
Co-ordinate home improvement plans and associated projects as directed by the Group Director of Operations.
Oversee and monitor commercial targets of each nursing home including agency use and occupancy.
To foster positive, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Work cohesively with colleagues to ensure each nursing home is supported to achieve their goals.
Liaise with external agencies to ensure transparency and commitment to high quality standards.

Suitability:

The role would suit someone who has experience and or qualification in project management, business operations or healthcare.


You must have excellent communication skills, having the ability to communicate effectively and coherently, both verbally and in writing. You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and work to deadlines.
