TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with the HSE for a Grade VII Project manager position for a temporary 12 month initial contract.
Based in Westmeath
Monday to Friday position
30 days annual leave

The core functions of the Grade VII Project Manager role:
·Support the HOS with appropriate business services as they relate to the financial function
·Monitor income and expenditure on on-going basis in consultation with HOS
·Take corrective action where appropriate in consultation with the HOS.
·Ensure adherence to the HSE National Financial Regulations and ensure that records are maintained appropriately.
·Approve and authorise purchase and payment of goods and services in line with HSE regulations and procedures.
·Identify and evaluate Internal & external priorities that must be considered in the service planning process and their implications.
·Liaise with other Business Services, Finance, Estates, and ICT etc. as appropriate.
·Ensure accurate and relevant information is accessible in a timely and clear manner
·Oversee compliance with provisions of the FOI Acts 1997, 2003 & 2014.
·Liaison with the FOI/Data Protection Decision Maker.
·Overview of responses to parliamentary questions, representations, media queries etc., as relevant to the role.
·Preparation of monthly management reports that concisely and accurately reference performance.
·Responsible for delivery of key targets by ensuring a robust control system is put in place.
·Participate in monitoring performance, control and evaluation arrangements in respect of service delivery and operations.
·Engage with HR specialists/recruitment managers regarding recruitment of staff and participate on interview boards and attend meetings as required.

Candidates must at the latest date of application:

(i)Have a Quality and Qualifications Ireland Level 8 (or higher) major academic award in a business, science, or a health-related discipline as relevant to the role. Essential Requirements
(ii)healthcare environment with a mixed programme of work including planning, organising, and evaluating complex or multi-year projects and moving with ease between concurrent projects using structured change and project methodologies.
(iii)Demonstrate the depth and breadth of experience of analysing complex datasets using tools such as Excel, statistical software packages.
(iv)Demonstrate the depth and breadth of experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders, as relevant to this role.
(v)Demonstrate the depth and breadth of significant operational experience in managing and delivering change in a complex environment, as relevant to the role.
(b) The requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, and managerial ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
