We are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join our tribe, based in Ennis.

Responsibilities

You'll be responsible for:

• Management accounting and reporting including, primary statement preparation, variance and insight analysis, analytical reviews and KPI reporting, for presentation to Management and Board.
• Involvement in implementation and continuous development of a new Finance and Accounting software platform.
• Support budgeting and strategic development projects.
• Forecasting to assist business planning and decision-making.
• Oversight over daily cash management and weekly bank reconciliations.
• Review of monthly work in progress and billing and assist the AR and AP teams to make sure all invoicing and customer billings are kept up to date and recorded accurately and on-time.
• Advise on potential forward looking opportunities and challenges and presenting solutions and actions to aid improvements and decision making.
• Liaising with Revenue Commissioners
• Involvement with the documentation and adherence to policies and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland (ACA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with a minimum 2 years PQE.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Knowledge of accounts packages is an advantage (e.g. Sage 50, Sage Intacct, Xero)
• Ability to work on own initiative and to work effectively as part of a team dynamic and ambitious team.
