TTM Healthcare have a wonderful opportunity for a Director of Operations and Clinical Care for a nursing home group based in Cork City.
This a new Company with 7 Nursing homes and currently expanding. They are looking for a Director of Operations to manage the group and assist with expansions.

You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and work closely with your team to ensure that our internal audit cycle process is completed in a timely fashion and that while compliance with HIQA regulations is assumed our expectation is to see beyond these regulations and to continually seek improvements in the services we provide to our residents.

As the Director of Operations & Clinical Care you will be;

Responsible for ensuring that in all our designated centres we are delivering a safe and effective service that complies with the Regulations and Standards and any other relevant legislation.

1. You will ensure that the governance, leadership and management/staffing arrangements in our homes are effective and are providing a good quality and safe service.

2. You will ensure that the care and support our residents receive is of a good quality and that they are safe and comfortable in an appropriate living environment.

3. Accountable for the operational and financial performance of the group homes. This will involve the management of quality standards including estates management, ongoing continuous improvement including maximizing group synergies through standardizing processes & practices and where possible systematic centralization, operational efficiency including occupancy and brand development and actively engaging with a spectrum of stakeholders.
4. As the group is in a growth phase, assessment of potential acquisitions and successful integration of same is a key prerequisite of this role.

5. Advising and supporting the CEO in policy making, procedures, inspection and accreditation you will seek and support opportunities to grow and develop our service offering.

Requirements

  • You will have strong communication skills and be a credible and compelling external advocate for; liaising with external organizations and developing lasting relationships along the way.
  • Ideally you would be nurse qualified supplemented with relevant business / management qualification and relevant demonstrable experience of at least 5-7 years in a similar role.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, charisma and competence are essential to deliver safe and excellent resident centric care expected
  • To be considered for this post you must have previous experience at Senior Management level within a similar/relevant sector and ideally, where you had responsibility for a large portfolio of residential care facilities and worked collaboratively with Registered Managers and their teams.
  • You will also have a car and valid driving licence.
  • To be professionally accountable for providing acceptable standards of care.
  • To ensure that all work is client focused and upholds the principles of choice, respect, dignity, privacy, independence and fulfillment
