TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Director of Nursing on behalf of their North Cork based client.
This is a 50+ bedded nursing home with a great management structure and support network. Due to their excellent managerial skills, this Nursing Home has managed to stay covid free throughout the pandemic.
We will also consider an Assistant Director of Nursing who is eager to prgoress in her career to Director of Nursing level.
The Role:
•Ensure effective governance through directing and managing care and care delivery.
•Staff Management / Supervisory responsibilities.
•Maintaining oversight of the skills mix to ensure that appropriate rosters are capable of being produced by the HR & Operations Manager.
•Resource management including budgetary awareness and projection planning including holding responsibility for bed management.
•Ensure safe and effective service delivery through ongoing clinical auditing and monitoring and in doing so ensure that the service fulfills its Statement of Purpose and achieves its objectives.
•Ensure that local policies reflect on national policy, standards and best practice recommendations.
Requirements:
•Registered Nurse with a full An Bord Altranais registration.
•Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development.
•Minimum 5 years out of the last 8 years in a care of the older person setting at senior management
•level.
•Post-registration qualification in healthcare management or equivalent is essential
Post-registration qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care is desirable.
