We are looking to recruit a Day Service Coordinator for our Community Hubs based in Killmallock County Limerick.
This is a management role and based on a Monday to Friday 9-4.30pm week.
The role will involve overseeing 2 Community Hubs with over 30 service users and 7/8 permanent staff including instructors and service Supervisors.
The ideal candidate will have:
•A QQI Accredited Diploma/Degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or a qualification in Nursing (RNID) or Social Work (Degree) or a Degree in Training and Education
•The ability to work on his/her own initiative and supervise service users/staff in a Day Service/Rehabilitative Programme setting.
•A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in the Intellectual Disability sector.
•A minimum of 3 years Supervisory or Management experience in the area of Social Care.
•Strong communication, leadership and influencing skills.
•Train the Trainer Qualification, or it's equivalent is essential
•Experience in managing a service budget is desirable
This is a Grade 5 role with a salary range from 42-50k depending on experience.
It is an excellent opportuniy for a Day Service coordinator to also expand and grow the Community Services.
