CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER- ELDERLY CARE

TTM Healthcare, along with our client, are recruiting for a staff nurse for their 65 bedded facility in East Cork. Our Client provides 24 hour nursing care to 65 residents as well as providing a specialised Dementia Care Unit.

This is a full time permanent contract, based on a 39 hour week

Duties Include:

To manage a team and provide efficient and effective care to residents on a person-centered basis
To promote through high standards of professional nursing practice, a caring environment conducive to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of residents
Establishing relationships with all our staff, residents, relatives, and visitors to ensure support and comfort is given at all times
Ensures the agreed policies and procedures for the control, administration and custody of all drugs and medicines are adhered to
Knowledge and awareness of HIQA standards and ability to participate in inspection process
Ensure all admissions to the home are carried out correctly and all appropriate documentation completed
Liaise with health care professionals as necessary regarding the discharge of a resident to the community to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

Registered with the Irish Nursing Board, NMBI
Must have 2 years post qualification experience
Previous management experience desirable
Must be living in Ireland and permitted to work
