About the role:

The Clinical Nurse Manager will play a central role in Assessing, Planning, Implementing and Evaluating nursing care. The CNM will lead the Nursing Team in delivering Person- Centred Care to our residents and will be acting up for the Director of Nursing in their absence or in an emergency planning and allocation of nursing teams with appropriate staff members, skill mix levels of experience to meet the clinical demands and continuity of care. The overall responsibility within this role will be to ensure that all work is client focused and upholds the principles of choice, respect, dignity, privacy, independence and fulfillment.

 

 Your Educational Responsibilities:
  • Must be on the Live Register with NMBI
  • 5 years of post- registration experience
  • Proven track record in team management and performance management
  • A minimum of 3 years in Care of the Elderly
  • Continuous Professional Development
  • Ability to manage and motivate team
  • Must have good knowledge and understanding of HIQA and standards pertained to Care of the Older Person.
