At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with one of the largest independent Healthcare providers of quality nursing home care in Ireland are recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager for a NEW state of the art care home opening early February 2020 based in County Wicklow. THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Director of Nursing the successful candidates will essentially be responsible for the provision of long stay care for clients.
The overall responsibility within this role will be to ensure that all work is client focused and upholds the principles of choice, respect, dignity, privacy, independence and fulfilment.
This NEW state of the art Care Facility will provide a high standard of care 24 hours a day and will offer residential care as well as specialist care for those with dementia. They will also provide respite care to give home carers a much needed break. The centre will have a team of dedicated registered nurses and care assistants and ancillary staff that will also provide help and support to a high standard

Your Clinical Responsibilities:

           
The appointee will undertake the role and responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse Manager. Accountable to the Director of Nursing, the successful applicant will be required to provide and manage a professional care and nursing service while actively contributing to the development of the Nursing Home, its residents and staff.              
         
The successful applicant:-
 
Must be a registered nurse (on, or eligible to be on, the live register of nurses maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, NMBI.            
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Must have at least 3 - 5  years relevant post registration nursing experience.            
Must possess management/supervisory experience, including team leadership with resource planning and allocation.            
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, relatives/visitors, employees, management and external bodies e.g. GPs, hospitals, HSE, HIQA, etc.            
Post-registration qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care and / or a Post-registration qualification in healthcare management or equivalent will be an advantage. In the absence of such a qualification, the appointee will be required to undertake such training.               
             

Your Educational Responsibilities:

Must be on the live register with NMBI.
Your Communication Responsibilities.
Must possess excellent communication and team lead skills and work well in a team environment.
Must have excellent knowledge and understanding of HIQA and standards pertained to Care of the Older Person.
