Role: Clinical Manager -
Suited to experienced Clinical/Counselling/Educational Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses, Psychotherapists & Occupational Therapists.
Location: Cork
Salary: €70,000 - €80,000
Contract: Full Time & Permanent
The successful candidate will have a strong track record as a mental health professional with experience of working in a supervisory /management capacity.The successful candidate will join the existing Clinical Manager in overseeing clinical practice. The Clinical Manager acts as mental health lead for the service, providing clinical leadership across the therapeutic service and as well as other aspects of the service such as youth mental health promotion. The Clinical Manager is responsible for clinical governance and acts as a clinical lead for the trans disciplinary team which works with young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The Clinical Managers and Service Manager will work closely together to ensure the safe and effective delivery of the service.
Essential Criteria:
Qualifications & Registration - It is essential that you meet one of the below:
Experience
A minimum of five years' full time or equivalent experience working in a mental health service / setting.
Experience of core clinical mental health skills; assessment (including risk assessment), formulation, evidence informed therapeutic intervention and evaluation.

Qualifications & Registration - It is essential that you meet one of the below:
- Doctorate or equivalent in clinical/counselling/educational psychology. Qualifications obtained overseas must be validated by the Department of Health at the time of application.
- Mental Health Nurse registered with An Bord Altranais.
- Social Worker registered with CORU.
- Occupational Therapist registered with CORU.
- Psychotherapist accredited by the Irish Council for Psychotherapy(ICP), the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), The National Association for Professional Counselling & Psychotherapy (NAPCP) or the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists (APCP).
Experience
