TTM Healthcare in partnership with our client in Celbridge, Co. Kildare have a vacancy for a Finance Assistant (Clerical Officer Grade IV) position for a permanent contract with immediate availability.

Fulltime hours - Immediate start.


  • A recognised qualification in accountancy or related discipline and advantage
  • Experience in computerised accounts, financial information systems with a high proficiency in excel required
  • Two year's minimum experience in an accounts/finance department
  • Pervious experience in payroll processing required
  • Previous experience in Creditor and Debtor processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Responsible for the management of Purchase Invoice approval process
• Following up with approvers to ensure that invoices are approved on a timely basis and in line with approval limits
• Ensuring that invoices are posted to the correct expense and cost code in line with Budget
• Preparation of weekly and monthly payrolls for holiday cover regularly throughout the year.
• A good knowledge of standard Microsoft computer packages and financial accounting packages, Payroll, Creditors, Debtors and Nominal Ledger.
• Responsible for tracking and reconciling Donations and Sundry Funding
• Knowledge of Open accounts is an advantage.
• Understanding of basic ICT hardware and software components
• A high level of competence in Excel is required.
• Providing excellent quality of service to all supporting departments as required.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and meet month end deadlines.
• Providing timely financial reports and documentation as required.
• Preparing year- end audit requirements
• Preparing and processing monthly nominal journals primarily through excel imports to accounts system.
• Cover for annual leave within the Finance Dept.
• Assist in ad hoc projects that may be required from time to time.
• Any other duties that may be assigned to you in the light of changing circumstances.
