Job Purpose:
The Chief 1 Respiratory Physiologist is a Clinical position within the organisation and has joint operational responsibility for the Sleep and Pulmonary services alongside another Chief 1 Physiologist, reporting to the Respiratory Services Manager.
Key Requirements:
• Hold a degree in Clinical Measurement or equivalent or hold a Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 5 years satisfactory relevant post qualification experience in both PFTs and sleep disorders in a recognised clinical Laboratory
• Have the clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role
Desirable for the post holder to be able to demonstrate where they have experience in:
• Managing a service or having responsibility for aspects of a service
• Supervising or leading a team
• Creating and achieving Service Objectives
