Key Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the DON to ensure all policies, procedures and guidelines are implemented and in practice at all levels of staff throughout the care home.
In conjunction with the DON, responsible for providing support and strategic and clinical leadership and direction for nursing and related services which results in the delivery of effective, efficient, quality assured and resident centered nursing care.

Requirments :
- Minimum 3 years relevant ADON or acting ADON experience.
- Currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI);
- Demonstrable clinical and professional ability, leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Working knowledge of HIQA standards, procedures and guidelines.
- Post registration qualification in gerontology and/or dementia care is highly desirable.
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
