HSE Jobs - Working as part of a team of acute Healthcare Assistants in a hospital environment you will provide quality care to meet the needs of patients while guided by Nursing staff. For these HCA jobs, you need to be flexible & available for a range of shifts, throughout the week. Shift allocation can range from specialising to Nursing support, depending on the needs of the service. These roles are suitable for Healthcare Assistants who want flexibility & work life balance. Hospital roles involve 12 hour day & night shifts (8am-8pm, 8pm-8am).
Community Jobs – Working hand-in-hand with experienced teams, you will work alongside services users in Residential, Outreach & Day service settings to promote & maintain their independence, building the day around the service users needs & supporting individualised plans created based on their needs & interests. We have jobs available in Nursing Homes, Residential Settings within ID services, Day services (ID) & also outreach programmes (ID). These roles involve a range of shift patterns: Days, Nights & Sleepovers. Days can range from shorter shifts like 9am-5pm or an 8am-8pm 12 hour shift. Nights are typically 12 hours 9pm-9am/8pm-8am, waking nights & sleepover shifts range from a variety of start times & end times, including 24 hour shifts.

Minimum of a QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support or Pre-nursing Studies. All 8 Modules complete, 120 Credits.
Eligible to work in Ireland.
Minimum of 3 months recent experience in a caring/support role & supply references.
Fluent written & spoken English.
A full vaccination record including Hep B (3 shots & titre), MMR, TB & Varicella.
Must have or be willing to complete, essential additional training as required if not already completed.
QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support or a Social Care level 7/8 qualification.
Previous experience in community setting required.
For these jobs, depending on the individual client/service’s requirements, qualified SNA’s with relevant experience can apply.
Relevant trainings required but not essential to apply. These trainings can be booked & completed through the compliance process. But will be required to begin work with services.
