A specialist in the recruitment of Nursing professionals and part of a team of seven, Lisa is responsible for placement of Staff Nurses, Support Workers and Certified Nurse-Midwives in Permanent positions. Helping people find their dream role drives her and she never tires of the rewarding buzz of making her candidates happy.

Born in Ireland, Lisa spent time as a child in Chicago before moving to the UK where she first encountered the world of recruitment. She recognised that the people-orientation of the work suited her perfectly and began working as a trainee recruitment consultant with a healthcare company. Lisa knew she had found her calling when she was awarded Consultant of the Year. After three years of career growth and development, she returned to Ireland and joined the TTM family.

Having racked up 13 years in healthcare recruitment, Lisa has extensive industry knowledge and understanding. She says confidentiality, honesty and trustworthiness are the cornerstones of her work, as well as really taking time to get to know her candidates:

“I like to dig deep to understand fully what my candidates and clients are looking for and from that I go and find it. You need to be in tune with how a candidate wants to work with you – and be responsive. In the healthcare industry, being flexible about when we speak with candidates and clients is key – and it’s not unusual for me to chat with them of an evening or on weekends. If that’s when they need me – I’m there.”

Lisa counts buying her own home as one of her great achievements, loves jetting off to somewhere sunny and enjoys weekend trips in Ireland with family and friends.
