As part of our People and Culture Team, Joanne plays a key role in ensuring the unique energy of our company.

Joanne’s role includes internal recruitment and employee relations. She is also responsible for issuing of contracts for internal and locum workers. With employment rates at an all-time high in Ireland, her job is a busy one, and she feels she’s definitely found her niche.

Joanne grew up in Limerick and she previously worked as acting manager in a call centre, which led her into HR.

“In my previous job I was the problem solver. I loved getting an understanding of both customer and business needs - and working out full-bodied solutions for both parties. I always had a huge interest in employee wellbeing and the impact this has on people’s careers, so my move into HR was very organic.”

She began her BA Honours Degree in Business and Human Resource Management in 2018, proudly earning a 1.1 in 2021 despite the challenges of COVID. She joined TTM in the same year, and since then her growth has been significant - moving from HR Administrator to HR Officer and now HR Generalist.

Joanne loves the social interactivity of her role and the variety and fresh challenges each day brings. She believes her special strengths are her efficiency and ability to organise her working day effectively, together with a good sense of humour. Sharing a smile with colleagues and enjoying the lighter side of work life means a lot to her.

Joanne is passionate about her dog, Diego, who she rescued from a pound. She’s loving giving him the life he deserves, while she also enjoys gym and horse-riding.
